    Chelsea

    Hey girl! I’m Chelsea.

I’ve been a stylist for 20 years and proudly opened Scarlett & Sage in November 2019. My goal in creating this salon was to build a culture where stylists can learn, create, and grow freely while building a life they love. While having the freedom to enjoy it. At Scarlett & Sage, we focus on cultivating long-lasting relationships with both our team, our clients, and community. Creating an environment you’ll love to visit as much as we love to work in it.

By nature, I’m creative and have a true passion for color. I have an extensive education back ground in the industry. As I step away from full time stylist I am excited to mentor the team at Scarlett & Sage. I am excited for the growth here in Culpeper.

I believe wholeheartedly that time spent with our children and doing the things we love is priceless. I do enjoy a good glass of wine with friends, exploring downtown areas, and embracing new adventures whenever I can. Recently, I’ve discovered a love for pottery, gardening and finding new hobbies. So if I am not in the salon or wondering outside, you can guess I am starting some new hobbie, somewhere.

I truly love what I do. it allows me to put all my personality, heart, and soul into making clients feel confident, beautiful, and happy in their style. I love to laugh, have a great conversation, and can’t wait to meet you all in the salon!

    Jamie

    Hi, I’m Jamie!

Born and raised in Culpeper, I ventured to Florida for a season before life brought me back home over 17 years ago. I’m now happily married and a proud mom of two boys, ages 17 and 10. We love living in town and taking advantage of any sunny day to sneak away to the park.

I’ve been in the hair industry for 17 years and recently moved my business to Culpeper to be closer to family and embrace more of what I love most—motherhood, community, and connection. Naturally organized and detail-oriented, I bring that same precision and care into every service I provide.

I specialize in fine hair textures, natural, lived-in color, with a particular passion for sun kissed tones. I love to craft seamless, multi-dimensional reds—from natural copper to deep, saturated ruby tones. I always approach my clients color in a way that ensures every guest leaves with color that shines, lasts, and feels uniquely theirs. Having fine hair myself, I’ve become an expert at creating volume and movement that lasts. I’m constantly learning and staying inspired through ongoing education, always eager to share the latest tips, techniques, and trends with my clients.

When I’m not behind the chair or experimenting with new products from the salon store, you can usually find me wandering the aisles of Hobby Lobby or Target—trying (and usually failing!) not to buy everything in sight.

I’m so excited to welcome you into my chair and can’t wait to help you look and feel your absolute best!

    Amanda

    Hello, Gorgeous! I’m Amanda.

I’m a long-time stylist proudly serving my hometown of Culpeper, Virginia. As a mom of four, I know firsthand how important it is to feel special, pampered, and truly beautiful—which is exactly the experience I want every guest to have when they leave my chair.

With over 23 years in the hair industry, I’ve developed a deep passion for creating looks that uplift, empower, and inspire confidence. I specialize in grey coverage, seamless blonding, blended foils, and natural grey-transition services that make color feel effortless and elegant. I also love crafting pixie cuts, classic shapes, and timeless styles that flatter your features and fit your lifestyle.

Education is the cornerstone of my craft. I’m committed to staying current with the latest trends through weekly in-salon training and advanced master classes along the East Coast. This dedication keeps my creativity fresh and ensures that my clients always receive the very best in modern hair artistry.

When I’m not creating magic behind the chair, you’ll find me on our family farm tending to my horses and flock of chickens, or off on spontaneous adventures with my husband and kids. I’m also a lover of treasure hunts at TJ Maxx and winding down with a favorite novel. I also own a small booth in a local antique shop, where I share my love for vintage finds, timeless treasures, and pieces with a story.

I can’t wait to welcome you into the salon and help you look—and feel—your absolute best. Online booking is available for your convenience!

    Patti

    Hey there! I’m Patti.

I’ve been in the beauty industry for 22 years and absolutely love what I do. Born and raised in Fauquier, Virginia, I began my career there before recently moving to Orange County to be closer to family and raise my two boys, ages 13 and 11. Family time means everything to me, and we love spending our days riding roller coasters, exploring local parks—Rock Water Park is our current favorite—and chasing trains for my boys to record and enjoy.

Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of working in some of the area’s top salons, continuously learning and staying up to date on the latest techniques and trends. I’m an artist at heart, and that creativity shines through in my love for color and precision cutting. Blondes and bobs of every shade and style are among my favorites, Grey coverage is also one favorites! Specialize in precision roots, soft grey blending, and custom glossing—perfect for anyone wanting rich, natural color that stays beautiful between appointments. How ever , I truly enjoy bringing all kinds of looks to life.

I’m also certified in Keratin treatments and would love to chat about how this services can transform your hair’s health, manageability, and overall look.

A fun fact about me—I’m also a licensed tattoo artist! While raising two boys and working full-time doesn’t leave much room for tattooing these days, I still find creative fulfillment through my work behind the chair. When I do get a rare quiet moment, you’ll probably find me lost in a good book, soaking in a little peace and stillness.

I can’t wait to meet you and help you discover the perfect shade and cut that makes you feel your absolute best!

    Gabby

    Hi!

I’m a proud local of Culpeper, married with three energetic kids who love to eat and explore the outdoors. Our family enjoys kayaking, visiting rivers, and spending time in nature whenever we can.

I’ve been in the hair industry for five years, and I absolutely love helping people feel confident and beautiful—this is why I thrive in my career. I specialize in curly hair and hair extensions, and I’m continually expanding my education to deepen my expertise. I also love creating natural balayage looks and introducing clients to fresh, new colors that highlight their unique style.

Continuing education is very important to me, and I’m always looking for ways to bring clients new ideas and inspiration for their hair. On the rare occasions I have some time to myself, I enjoy baking, exploring Fredericksburg, grabbing lunch, shopping, and wandering through craft stores and TJ Maxx. Scrapbooking is a favorite pastime, as I love preserving memories through pictures, both new and old.

I can’t wait to meet you and help you achieve all your hair goals!

    Claire

    Hi, Im Claire!

I grew up in Culpeper, VA, and have been in the salon industry since 2018. I'm a licensed stylist with 6 years of experience, specializing in blondes and creating subtle, natural-looking dimension. My goal is always to enhance your hair in a way that feels lived in and effortlessly you.

Outside of the salon, I recharge with my two horses and two cats. I don’t have kids, but the barn is definitely my happy place. On my days off, you’ll usually find me outdoors—horse showing, floating the river, or enjoying a good bonfire. Middleburg is my favorite town (hello, horse stores!), but Awful Arthur’s in OBX has my heart when it comes to food.

I love chatting with my clients—maybe a little too much! If you’ve got a good sense of humor and a positive outlook, we’re probably going to get along just fine.

I look forward to seeing everyone in the salon!

    Lex

    Hey y’all, I’m Lex!

I grew up in Bealeton, VA and spent several years living in Georgia before eventually making my way back to Virginia. I recently moved my business to Culpeper after relocating from warrenton to this area, and I’ve been loving getting to know the community so far. If you have any great Mexican restaurant recommendations ,or favorite local spots in general , send them my way!

I’ve been licensed and behind the chair for 10 years after discovering my passion for cosmetology during my junior year of high school. I fell in love with the industry then and have loved it ever since.

When I’m not in the salon, I love spending time with the people I care about most. Thrifting with my fiancé, enjoying lake days on the boat, working on projects around the house, and planning our upcoming wedding. I’m also a proud dog mom to two Australian Shepherds who are basically my sons.

Some of my favorite services behind the chair are blonding, color transformations, and event hair. I also hope to become certified in hair extensions in the future!

One of the things I value most behind the chair is creating genuine connections with my clients and making everyone feel comfortable, heard, and cared for. I truly believe my biggest strength is listening — whether you want to celebrate accomplishments, vent about life, or chat about anything and everything.

I’m so excited to be part of the Scarlett & Sage team and can’t wait to meet you all!

    Jessica

    Hey there! I’m Jessica.

I’m a seasoned stylist with over 13 years of experience in the hair industry, specializing in natural, lived-in color and effortlessly beautiful styles. My approach to hair is all about enhancing each client’s individuality while keeping it healthy, radiant, and easy to maintain.

Originally from Manassas, my husband and I moved to Culpeper three years ago, and we’ve loved building a life rooted in family and community. I’m also a proud new mom to my sweet, chunky little boy—balancing motherhood and creativity has been one of my greatest joys.

When I’m not behind the chair, you’ll probably find me supporting local farmers, shopping small, or soaking in the charm of small-town life. My schedule is a bit more limited these days as I savor this season of motherhood, but I’m excited to continue growing in my career and can’t wait to get to know all of you!

    Hannah

    Hey beautiful! I’m Hannah.

I recently moved from Winchester to the charming small town of Sperryville, where my husband and I have found the cutest home nestled along the river. We’re excited to raise our two boys and daughter—while building a life full of family, community, and connection.

I love meeting new people and genuinely connecting with clients on all levels. Being a stylist allows me to do what I love while maintaining a flexible schedule to be a mom, which brings me so much happiness. Slightly a perfectionist by nature, I take my time with each client to ensure every cut and color is just right. I specialize in longer-length haircuts, cool blondes, and balayage.

Outside the salon, you’ll find me spending time with family, meeting new people, hiking, or cooking for those I love. I’m so excited to build a clientele and friendships in this wonderful new town—and I can’t wait to see you in my chair!

    Joslynn

    Hi, I’m Joslynn

I grew up in Fauquier, recently moving to Culpeper. I have been in this industry a while now, but the last 5 years I have really dedicated myself to education and starting my career. I am a hair and makeup artist with a passion for helping women feel confident, radiant, and authentically themselves. For the past 5 years, I’ve specialized in wedding hair and makeup, creating timeless, effortless styles that last from the first look to the final dance. AND most of my weekends are spent with my brides!

Faith and family are at the heart of everything I do. I’m a proud Jesus lover, devoted friend, and loyal family member who believes beauty begins within. When I’m not with my brides or clients, you’ll probably find me hunting for vintage treasures in a thrift store, chatting away with friends and spending time with the people I love most.

I am very excited to get to know you, your families!

  • A young woman with brown wavy hair and a nose ring stands in an open field during daytime, wearing a floral dress and displaying tattoos on her arm and shoulder.

    Lexxy

    Hey there!

I’ve been part of the Scarlett & Sage family for about a year and have spent the last five years growing my passion in the beauty industry. I love connecting with clients through friendly conversation and creating hair that makes them feel confident, effortlessly put together, and true to themselves. My specialties include lived-in color and bright, beautiful blondes that enhance each client’s natural beauty.

Outside the salon, I’m a proud mom to a lively 3-year-old girl. We love getting creative with arts and crafts and spending time at local parks. While I wouldn’t call myself an “outdoorsy” person, I never pass up a sunny day at the lake or a chance to go boating. When I’m not behind the chair or chasing toddler adventures, you can usually find me at a local brewery or playing trivia with friends.

I’m enjoying building my clientele and can’t wait to meet more friendly clients!

    Makaila

Hi! I’m a Culpeper, Virginia native who’s been in the salon industry for just over a year, including my time in cosmetology school. I’ve been officially licensed for one month, and I’m so excited to continue growing my career behind the chair.

I truly value quality time with my favorite people—and especially with my two big dogs, Goodie and Feriday, who are basically my whole world. When I’m not in the salon, you can usually find me relaxing at home with my dogs, spending time with my sister, or doing a little shopping (especially for dog toys!).

My favorite service to perform is a full highlight, and I’m passionate about creating both lived-in and dramatic blonde looks. I love working with women of all ages and genuinely enjoy connecting with my clients during their appointments. One of my strongest qualities behind the chair is being a good listener—I want every guest to feel heard, comfortable, and confident.

Culpeper will always be my favorite town, Chipotle is my go-to spot, and I’m so grateful to be building my career in the community that feels like home.

See you all in the salon!

    Savannah

    Hi, I am Savannah!

I’ve grown up and lived in Orange County my entire life, and I’m currently working as a salon assistant while completing my journey toward becoming a licensed hairstylist. I’ve been in the salon industry for about six months and have seven months remaining until I’m officially licensed — and I’m loving every step of the process.

Family and friends mean everything to me, and when I’m not in the salon or at school, you’ll most likely find me binge-watching shows with my cat or spending way too much time wandering TJ Maxx. My favorite place to unwind is Short Pump — I love strolling through the mall and discovering new coffee spots or places to eat. If I had to pick a favorite restaurant, it would be Itavie in Fredericksburg for their incredible homemade Italian food.

Outside of hair, I’m creative at heart. I enjoy painting, drawing, cooking, baking, and staying active through working out. Once I’m licensed, I plan to specialize in blonding and color correction, and I’m excited to continue my education by becoming certified in hair extensions as well.

I don’t believe there’s such a thing as a “perfect client” — I truly enjoy connecting with all different people. One of my favorite parts of being behind the chair is getting to talk with clients, hear what’s new in their lives, and build genuine connections. My strongest qualities behind the chair (besides hair!) are my sense of humor and my ability to communicate and keep conversations flowing.

I can’t wait to continue growing, learning, and creating beautiful hair while making every guest feel comfortable, heard, and confident. And I can’t wait for you to be a part of that journey!!
